The organization NAPCP stands for National Association of Professional Child Photographers, and it is a wonderful community for us photographers to share and learn from one another. I am so blessed to be a part of this growing organization and have made so many sweet friends through it. Photographers, if you haven’t heard of NAPCP, be sure to go check them out here. I couldn’t wait to photograph this sweet boy, who just celebrated his 3rd birthday a few days ago. Due to the Texas heat that is officially here, we met early when the temperature was bearable and the light was perfect. It could not have been a more fun morning, and I can already tell William is going to make a wonderful big brother here in a few months

What a sweet, happy and handsome boy!! Those are adorable and great of the whole family!!
If you follow my blog, you’ve probably noticed I’ve had lots of newborns lately. I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way as they are one of my favorite subjects to photograph! Seeing God’s perfect creation in these tiny babies is something so precious to be able to witness.
This week I met the sweetest 6 day old boy. Slates was so good for us and it was a joy to finally meet his mom and dad and of course his grandma, who contacted me months ago to schedule a session for her new grandson. And if the abundant love and giddyness that was filling the house over this little guy weren’t enough, there was also some Southern charm in there too. Mom & Dad are grads from Ole Miss which happens to be my alma mater as well Hotty Toddy!
Congrats Mom & Dad on your precious baby boy. I had such a wonderful morning with y’all and loved every minute of our session together!

He is precious! Just like i knew he would be.
I could’ve spent the whole day with this precious boy. He was so good to me and I think I heard him cry maybe twice the entire time I was there. I know his mom & dad are so excited for him to finally be here, and it is very clear that they are already completely smitten with their little guy. So…without further adieu, meet Wesley…
